Highly experienced

My name is Erin Patterson and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker living in Austin, Texas. I have worked in social services for more than 17 years, 12 of them focused on the various types of child adoption. Most recently, I worked as the Director of Adoption at a nonprofit here in Austin. Unlike many social workers, I was lucky to live and work in orphanages in 3 developing countries. I feel strongly that working across the spectrum of adoption has given me a unique perspective that allows me to better serve my clients.

Having worked in international adoption, domestic infant adoption, foster care and post adoption support services, I know exactly how confusing the process can be and would be honored to guide you.

Get started
Since retiring from Upbring in 2011, I have volunteered in the agency's adoption program. For the last several years, Erin has been the Director of the program, and I had the honor of working closely with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about adoption, both domestic and international. She is very personable and conscientious. If you need advice on a current adoption, she can be extremely helpful.

Erin was by our side through the entire adoption process. Her knowledge on the process, along with her ability to connect with those considering adoption, makes her the perfect person for the job. We would not hesitate to work with Erin again!
